Art Africa Colour Cure Exhibition was launched on 13th October 2022. The exhibition featured 10 female artists in Ghana in support of the Korle-bu Breast Cancer Surgical Unit. Full of praise and hope despite dire times, Kojo Choi (Founder of Art Africa) opened his address by singing “Every praise to our God”- a popular Christian song. He spoke about how he grew up in Ghana and how this cultivated his love for paintings. He said, “Paintings have life… all you need to do is to put your imagination into it and it comes alive”. He shared the plan of Art Africa to support the Korle-bu Breast Cancer Surgical Unit with part of the proceeds from the sale of the Colour Cure exhibited paintings. He encouraged the audience to attend the Paint & Sip events held at the gallery with their children, family, and friends to build a love of art in our society. He thanked the event sponsors: PaySwitch, One Heart Africa Academy and Crystal Health & Beauty Center.
